Excitement!

Oh, I totally forgot to mention the latest thing!
There will be a big band playing jazz music in my town a few weeks from now and I’m ever so excited! I heard about it at one of the choir practices last week. Actually, I overheard one of the tenors telling a few other ladies about being in a big band and having a gig fairly soon - and with those two words ("big band" and "gig") mentioned in combination I was all ears, dying to know what was going on :)

I suppose I took him by surprise being so in to the whole jazz/swing music culture. He did his best to try and persuade me to come listen to it - redundant as it may have been - because I had already made my mind up to go. How often do you get to go dancing nowadays? And to a big band, nonetheless?

I went home and asked Colm out - and I warned him that I intend for us to dance.
He accepted and I couldn’t be happier. I’m already planning what to wear :)
