Choir is great. I love singing! However I don't agree with the way tunes and rythms stick in my head and refuses to go away :)
Last night, after practice, I went to bed with Vivaldi's "Gloria" playing over and over in my mind and this morning I woke up the very same. I bet I'm going to have the entire office annoyed with me before the end of the day due to my never-ending humming and randomly finishing the sequences with "Jesu Christe" :)
I'm so looking forward to the concert the 24th of October, when we get the orchestra and everything in place. I can't wait! - and if I can gather some more confidence I'll ask for a solo piece in one of the Christmas concerts this year :)

ReplyDeleteI've never heard you sing, (and I like to get a second opinion on this, perhaps Colm could put a word in) but the things you put up here and your love of opera really impress and surprise me.
Randomness and the love of classical music seem such strange bedfellows.
